Drexel University Greek Studies honors Greek Nobel Laureate poet Odysseus Elytis in collaboration with The National Book Centre of Greece (EKEBI). A free exhibition that records the artist’s oeuvre and biography, interspersed by authentic documentary evidence and multimedia, will be inaugurated on Elytis’s centennial birthday. You are cordially invited to join the Director of Greek Studies, Dr. Maria Hnaraki, on November 2, at 6pm, at the James E. Marks Intercultural Center. A reception will follow. The exhibit, which will stay open to the public until December 2, 2011, is viewable weekdays 8am-6pm and weekends 12pm-5pm.
